Badgers can be found in most parts of UK. The average male badger weighs 23lbs and is roughly 36inches in length, while female badgers are usually smaller than the males. Badgers live in an underground labyrinth of tunnels called a sett. Their large claws are ideal for digging these complex tunnel systems, which have lots of chambers of varying sizes. See our DVD 'Sett on the Heath' if you are interested in badgers. It features outstanding footage, all shot in broad daylight. For more information, have a look at our Badgers Information Page
